School Christmas programs were prepared, finished and forgotten.
Actual holidays with social events came and went.
The New Year rolled around, officially making it 2014.
The Happy Meal got off of her Christmas break.
Summer travel plans are on the table: ZeMom is thinking Georgia, Armenia and Iran; ZeAuntie is thinking El Nido and the Happy Meal and I are thinking of the US or Australia.
All this time, this blog was quietly neglected as it accumulated all that virtual dust. Well, in the heart of one of the coldest winters in America, I think it’s just about time to start off my spring cleaning and just do this whole blogging thing one more try.
This is a year of fewer but bigger trips. Nothing confirmed about Boracay but knowing me, that is almost inevitable every year. The usual Tagaytay weekend long retreat will take place like clockwork.
[We are finally getting out of HERMIT MODE!]
I’ve got a bunch of really good articles from my Mom’s trips and even a slew of travel tips that you might find useful on your own journeys. I just have to figure out how to squeeze out the details from her. So far, the most probable way is to just follow her around with a video camera.
Here are some of the articles you can expect to find in the next couple of weeks:
Track Throwdown: Seoul, Hong Kong and Japan
Lining up these cities’ subway and train systems for the benefit of travelers
Disneyland Throwdown: Japan and Hong Kong
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly from Senyor Disney
10 Reasons Why Seoul is Awesome
Why I Regretted Not Applying for a Multiple Entry Visa to Seoul
Sanur, Bali, Indonesia: Bali for Grown Up Backpackers
And How to Play it Like a Pro
The Do’s and Don’ts of Camping and El Nido
And how to handle not having baths for the whole duration of it
I’ll keep this quick and simple so I can finally get back to ACTUAL travel blogging and providing my leagues and leagues of readers something to spend their toilet time on.
